No offense meant here. But unless doing an excursion, better to just enjoy the ship. The port area is essentially a flea market. The surrounding neighborhood does not appear safe for exploring.

Eh. Did a party bus. Not great. Will try snorkeling next time. The bus was approached by vendors and beggars. They pushed local purchases on board and were more political than I’d like on a vacation.

The port was clean . We did the zipline and the tube water tour. The guide slim was very kind and polite.

Belize definitely a port you go to with an excursion planned . Before we went I seen everyone review of it and didn’t understand but now that i’ve experienced it I understand . We did the cave tubing with a dry exploration of the cave and it was amazing !! Definitely a experience I’m glad we had the chance to have now I do recommend going to do one of their amazing excursions because they make amazing memories! But like before I said and many others have don’t go unless you have a excursion and if you do go stay with in carnivals shopping area . Oh yes and prepare to be sweating like crazy lol cause it’s hot !!
