Food and Dining
Serenity Bar
Serenity bar was pretty good staff made drinks tasty worth the hunt for the serenity area lol . We did try the “Creations Salad bar” that’s only on serenity and it did have a good selection of stuff for your salad but didn’t like the fact they had the dressing out in the heat but other than that was good . The serenity area was of course packed not crowded though all the cabana and most of the beach chairs were occupied but there were still some nice patio seating available.
Cherry on Top
Cherry on Top ! What a fun lil shop and it smells so good the ice cream is great not many flavors though had a ice cream sandwich cookies were hard but the sandwich was good in a whole . The staff were nice very helpful. They also sell candy by the pound ( create your own candy bags ) which meant the store was always packed but was worth it and fun .
Redfrog Pub and Brewery
The Pub was definitely a must stop for us being we’re beer people . We had the sampler and we had to try the self services dispensers ( IPA ) fun experience wasn’t too tasty of a IPA. The sampler gave us a great taste of the other beers they offered which were pretty tasty . The pub it’s self was fun the decor was welcoming and gave a island feel . Waiting staff were pretty informative and nice . We did try the Jerk wings and we wouldn’t recommend them ..
Bonsai Sushi
So We loved the Bonsai Sushi restaurant was Great ! The sushi was delicious ( i’m a frequent sushi eater ) and the Ramen was good . Definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re on the vista . Customer service of course was great .
Vista Lobby and Bar
The vista Lobby is very open and very beautiful with the atrium always changing during the cruise . Couldn’t get enough pictures with it in the background. The bar was always stocked and filled with people . There was constantly live music or some kind of activity going on so it was never a dull moment.
Havana Bar
The Havana Bar area in it own was quite an experience! We didn’t have a drink from it but sat and danced in the Havana area with the Latin Band . It got pretty packed in there and was a pretty fun scene.
Seafood Shack
If you’re a sea food person like us definitely give the shack a try ! Prices aren’t too bad . We got a pound of snow crab legs for $21 which gave us about 3 clusters .. We normally get 4 clusters for more $$ at our sea food restaurant ( boiling crab ) so kinda felt it was a okay deal . We also got a shrimp basket for like $6 was good came with fresh chips . Sea for is Cooked to order and delicious we definitely recommend the shack !
Guy's Burger Joint
Love Guys Burger Joint ! Just not on the “Vista” coming from Los angeles we know guys burger joint from our cruise ships out there and we love them burgers always on point .. Now we expected that on the vista and were very disappointed every time we got a burger it was burnt not tasty at all .
