I will try carnival in the near future to see if the experience is different. If not, I won’t do Carnival anymore. I traveled on the Celebrity and they made me feel like a celebrity. We will see how it goes.

I guess I didn’t understand about the policy about taking can drinks. I thought I could pack them and I couldn’t. If I would have known that, I would have carried them in my hand. They were taken away when I checked my bags in. Didn’t know until they brought my bags to the room and found a note inside. Never again will I bring drinks on. Good to know and understand the rules.

It was ok. I talked with another couple and they said not to base my experience on just this on cruise. It took forever to get our food in the main dining at night. The morning main dining was awesome. Jose and FIFA was awesome.

Was not happy with my room service guy. Didn’t get my room clean until the second day when I met him in the hallway and asked him was he the one cleaning 8180.
I loved Pako the photographer. He was Great! Loved the pictures he took as well. Love Michael in the dining room. Even though he took forever with our table. Michael accommodated my husband with letting him place his food a day ahead to make sure the chefs didn’t cook his food with garlic. My husband is allergic to garlic.
Ship Quality

I guess the ship is an older ship. Loved the glass elevators. Loved the staircases. Didn’t care for the pictures of naked people on the walls. Don’t know what era that was.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cleanliness was great after the second day when I met my stewardess in the hallway and let him know he can clean my room. He always took out the trash and made my bed. He also gave me extra towels as I requested. My bed kept separating. I guess you have to put two beds together to make a king. There should have been something to keep it together. I keep telling my husband “I’m sinking in!”
Was not clear where exactly to wait. In order to get off. Was I was off the ship, there was only one elevator going down and a million people in line that had to use elevator.
To compare apples to apples, you should have chosen Princess. Celebrity is RC'S premium offering, a step up from CCL. Princess is a premium offering from Carnival and is a fair comparison.
