You have to tender to this port. Hubby's not to fun of this! Lol! We did an excursion to the Mayan ruins and the rum factory. Stopped for gas! I see why they don't have a lot of cars! WOW

We had to take a tender to get ashore. The lines moves quickly and it was a smooth ride to shore. We took the excursion to the Lamanai ruins. Be prepared to walk and climb stairs. Wonderful tour but challenging if you're out of shape. It encouraged me to get in shape before our next cruise.

We booked an outside excursion that took us an hour north by van, then an hour north by river to explore some untouched Ruins. Our tour guide was a local and told us all about the culture and everything else we wanted to know about their country. It was a family owned business. When we got back his mom cooked us all a wonderful Belizian meal!

Our Butts Up excursion was great! We passed the cruise ship busses and our cave tubing and atv riding was a huge highlight of our vacation. We highly recommend this company.

We stayed on the boat for Belize this trip. We've been there numerous times, and we enjoyed having the ship mostly to ourselves.

Took a helicopter tour with Astrum Helicopters out to the Blue Hole, and it was amazing! Highly recommend. The port area was also nice and safe.

Tenders were running back and forth frequently - so no problem. Very little to do at port if you do not take excursion. Went on ruins excursion - tour guide friendly and knowledgeable, ruins were interesting. Roads to get there were very bumpy, long ride through poor area, very hot in July!

We did the Airboat excursion. It was a great time. Saw a lot of bird and a couple of iguanas. Didn't see any manatees or crocs but it was still a great time!
