we did an excursion of the ruins in Belize, my kids liked it, i could of skipped it. when we got back to town not much to do, couldn't find a beach or pool. so we had to get back on the boat, which we didn't want to do since we were on there so much.

We went to the Mayan Ruins...it was literally "Awesome" when we saw it. It's worth the 2 hour bus ride there and 2 hours back. You get to climb all the way to the VERY TOP of the biggest pyramid...you're not allowed to climb at all on the ruins in Mexico.

Overall the excursion was good but it took an hour and a half to get there and then you spend an hour on the excursion then have to turn right back around for the hour and a half trip back to the port. No time to shop so be aware.

We went to Lamanai. Elvis lead our group. Great energy! He gives an bit of history as you go by bus. We then take a boat ride to the ruins. It was a hot day. Take LOTS of Water. I took 2 20oz containers. I could have used one more. My husband took the same and thought 2 20oz containers were adequate.

Belize City is beautiful and has a "tourist village" along the waterfront with excellent shopping. We went on an airboat lagoon ride and tour of the city, with a great guide and an air-conditioned bus to get us there. Well worth the price, good family excursion, very friendly and well-informed staff. Highly recommend this choice.

Belize was ok. Because of the weather we weren’t able to do our original excursion. We ended up going to straight to Starfish Island from the ship. It was ok. Probably wouldn’t go back to that island. Not a lot to do there and it was pretty windy.

We did the barrier reef snorkeling and Starfish Island excursion. The water was very rough and this was a more advanced snorkeling adventure. Our kids loved it and the guides kept us safe. We also enjoyed Starfish Island. A tip for future visitors would be to wear water shoes as the sand is quite rough. The staff was friendly and the island was very restful.
