Review summary

The ship and cruise was fantastic. Been on over 10 cruises and wife and I think this was the best food we ever had. Granted there's no longer lobster night or midnight buffets but the quality and service was terrific. The ship was huge but there was always a place to escape and get away from the crowds. The entertainment was terrific and ports were all very good with the exception of Belize City which was a dump.

Mary Gene De La Cruz our travel agent from was terrific in helping us and would recommend her.

Had a mini-suite which was basically a balcony room with a bigger bathroom which was great. It was very nice with a lot of storage. Worked out and would highly recommend it.

Ship tip

The food was terrific at the free restaurants which included Taste, Savor, Tropicana, Shanghai and O'Sheehan's. We did go to Le Bistro one night and the food and service was amazing but for the cost would stick with the complimentary ones. The quality of the food and service was very similar.

Mojito bar at nice not crowded and always great entertainment. During the day deck 16 nice water falls to cool off in and a great bartender Albert. Have him make u a mudslide so refreshing ! Its also adult only deck NO KIDS! Sunset bar is out side on deck 8 waterfront. Fat cats is good entertainment not usually crowded.

Just got back today from the Getaway. Second time sailing on it. Had a amazing time. Had great service & food was awesome ! We ate at the main dining room the first night. The rest of the time at at Taste & Savor. Always great service and food. Ate at Teppankani one night that was awesome. Went to the Illusionariom show and dinner thats a must see. Make sure you go to Mohito Bar Sammy and Dang are wonderful happy bartenders. Catch James Morrison singer and piano hes awesome. Headliners comedy was great and Fat Cats always good entertainment. If you want sun and adult only section go to floor 16. Albert is great bartender and lots of fun. Casino not so great.

Great time with relaxing vacation

Worst cruise experience ever (boring and nasty food
