Belize itself was very beautiful. The vendors once again were a little pushy, and they began to follow some people around asking for their service. I did not care much for my excursion as it was kind of rushed and we barely made it back to the ship on time. Overall, the scenery was amazing, but I do not think I will be back.

My wife and I shopped but did not do an excursion here. Our adult children did an excursion to a cave which they enjoyed but complained that it was overbooked. The ship's departure was delayed due to their late return from this excursion.

This was our first time in Belize, which gave us many options. Our first choice was the Old Belize River trip. We traveled up the river for 21 miles and saw manatees, monkeys, crocodiles, bats and iguanas. We even had a dolphin swimming alongside our boat for several miles. Then we toured the Mayan ruins of Altun Ha. It was the best 6 hours we could have spent exploring the country of Belize.

A pleasant surprise. All we did was hang out at the pier and shop. I'm not a shopper, but it was quite fun. The tender isn't a lot of fun, but it wasn't that bad. It's a 20 minute boat ride over some beautiful Caribbean water...it can't be THAT bad!

We went to Belize and walked around the shops but didn't plan any excursions. We were hoping the ropes course, pools, water slides wouldn't be as crowded. However, when we got back from Belize both pools were drained and the ropes course was closed for the whole day.
