Definitely do an excursion if you want to leave the port. Not much to do In the city itself. The port has lots of shops if you want to get off the ship ( you’ll have to tender ). We did the Mayan Ruins. It was definitely a ride lol. I think about 1.5 hrs to get to the ruins. But definitely worth it. We really loved our guide and the excursion.

Did the Belize Top Ten tour. Bus was nice but Belize is a slum. The whole tour the guide kept talking about how poor they/she was, and how the government took all their money, and the police did nothing. Most of the Top Ten we just drove by and she pointed it out. Couldn't even get a picture. The tender off and on the boat was ridiculous! It took an hour and a half to get to Belize and 1 hour and fifteen minutes to get back on the boat. Really. one door to get back on?!

Aggressive merchants. Did the Manatee and Mangrove tour. Did not see any manatees, only a few iguanas.

Belize is beautiful. We did cave tubing through Cave-Tubing.com "Butts Up." They were fun, reasonably priced, and very helpful and informative. We would book through them again.

Thought this was a dirty port. there was trash in the water all around and the shopping wasn't much. Didn't leave the port area and went back to ship early.

Just shopped here. Few in our party got scared outside of the port, so we stayed in port to shop.

We took private tour they took us cave tubing and gave us lunch DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT forget water shoes or you will have to rent dirty old ones or buy if they have your size
