Overall, I will not cruise Carnival again, even if they are cheaper. The fact that my bedding problem could have been solved after the first night and wasn't is unforgiveable. The ship is not user-friendly, it is difficult to get from one end to the other. If you buy pictures and pay extra for a copy on a CD, make sure they give you the right picture. They didn't, and you can't tell by the thumbnail photo on the package.

The first night our dining room service was great, just as we expected! The next night we switched to early dining and it was terrible. Our server never introduced himself or asked our names, service was very slow. We felt like an afterthought. It took an hour to get our food. The diners around us were drinking their coffee before we got our entrée. We were on time for dinner.
Also, tablecloths should be on the tables every night, not just formal nights. Felt like we were eating at a diner.
The pizza, which is the only food available after 11:00 pm, was terrible, and we had to wait for it. Dough with a wisp of sauce, no cheese and a lot of pepperoni. They need more after-hours food places.

The room was nice, but the smoking allowed ruined it. Couldn't believe there was only one nightclub on the ship!

This rating would have been excellent if the ship was not so ugly. The ship and our cabin were very clean.
Ship décor was tacky. Pearls? The gold pearl had what look to be two sunny-side up eggs or women's breasts on the ceiling. Did NOT look like oysters with pearls.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean and roomy, but the bed was terrible, like a cardboard box with springs sticking up! I asked our steward if anything could be done, so he put a foam topper on it. That still didn't help so he kept putting more on. The 4th night I asked if the mattress could be swapped with an empty cabin. At this point I think there was 5 toppers on the bed. I was told no. After the 5th night our steward asked how was the bed and I said still awful, can't sleep at all and hurt bad in the morning. Another steward, maybe his boss, overheard me and when I explained what was going on, said they had extra mattresses and would be happy to swap it out. Really?! That night, the 6th night, I had a wonderful soft mattress on the bed. I slept most of the next day because I was so sleep-deprived. IT TOOK 5 DAYS TO FIX THIS! Ruined the cruise for me.
We did the excursion that brought us through Miami and then brought us to the airport. The tour was good but the bus had to drop us off at the extreme other end of the airport. We had to walk the whole terminal, lugging our heavy bags, clear to the other end!
Did the Belize Top Ten tour. Bus was nice but Belize is a slum. The whole tour the guide kept talking about how poor they/she was, and how the government took all their money, and the police did nothing. Most of the Top Ten we just drove by and she pointed it out. Couldn't even get a picture.
The tender off and on the boat was ridiculous! It took an hour and a half to get to Belize and 1 hour and fifteen minutes to get back on the boat. Really. one door to get back on?!
Rented a clamshell on the beach. My bad, I thought it would be oceanfront but it was 5 rows back with 4 rows of clamshells in front of it. Couldn't even see the water. The flying beach chair was so slow.
This is a stop so that Carnival can make more money off us, since they own it .
This review is correct. And cruising maybe for you. Go to princess or celebrity. Carnival. Has become just that a carnival. Never sailing with them again but will be cruising with princes or celebrity again. We lie cruising but carnival has fallen off the mark big time.
Try another cruise line. I thought I hated cruising after my first cruise on Carnival. I have done 7 more cruises on Princess and love cruising. You pay more, but the increased service makes it worth it to me.
