We really did not like Tunis. It was a frightening place, especially for young women like ourselves. Our tour guide was rude, and it seemed as if that he was just trying to make money off of us.

Didn't even leave the boat because of the hostility in this country. Those who did didn't have good reports. I understand they don't plan to continue this port.

how often do you get ot visit Northen Africa? Really cool and shcklingly nice people. The street vendors are quite annoying, but just tell then no and they go away.

The medina minaret of Tunis is fully covered due to restoration so you can't see any of it. The medina shopping is filled with pushy men who feel free to grab your arm and pull you in.
