This is one city I think they could change on the itinerary. Everything is far from the ship and the little that is by the ship is not that interesting.

This area is more of what I think of when I think of Mexico--kind of an average city with both beauty and poverty. We went on one of the more popular tours--Estatuaries and birds--this was a very long tour with a very long boat ride in the bay and then in the mangroves. We then got off the boat on Stone Island and were transported to a restaurant by a tractor pulled cart with seats in it. At the end of a 30 minute "tractor ride" we had a decent lunch at a restaurant with a nice beach. Most of us were too tired to even think about swimming on the beach at that point. There was then another shorter boat ride, walking, and another bus ride to get back onto the ship. We saw over 40 species of birds and had a very knowledgeable guide. Overall the tour was very interesting. Not for anyone with mobility issues or a sore back. Lots of shops and places to eat right in the pier area.

We did the Hop On Hop Off Tour - Felt that a couple of the places they wanted us to get off where a bit scary so we and also everyone on the bus didn’t want to get off.
