Naples is a big mess. Get out of town to see the Amalfi Coast / Sorrento. We used Can't Be Missed Tours - they picked us up right at the cruise terminal and brought us back with time to spare. Worth the visit!

We go straight to Capri and then straight to Anacapri, once we take the on your own boat ride excursion. This is one of the most beautiful islands in the world when you see it from Anacapri. The lemon trees, the smell of flowers, the warmth of the people and the beautiful ceramics and artwork available. And the food! No place better anywhere.

Found an English-speaking cab driver and hired him for the day. Went to Pompei and Sorrento. Great excursion and much cheaper (and personal) than anything offered on the ship.

We did the Amalfi coast drive excursion and the coast is simply breathtaking. WOW WOW WOW. The drive was a little scary with the curvy roads and the traffic but well worth it. The lunch time meal was delicious and so much nicer than we expected. A beautiful restaurant in Amalfi, complete with the best food and fantastic service.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. We did a RC tour to the Amalfi Coast by bus and boat and then Pompeii. This shore excursion and stops were the highlight of the entire cruise.

We took the Taste of Sorrento tour last month. It was our fifth tour and we were all pretty tired. We even considered skipping it. Thank goodness we didn't. It was AMAZING!! Our tour guide was named Joe. And he was the best! He was so knowledgeable and catered the excursion to us. From the limoncello, wine tasting, and scenic drive, everything was beautiful . And lunch at the Farm to Table restaurant was my favorite meal of the trip!! I highly recommend this excursion!!
