Another one of the highlights of the crusie. A beautiful and well maintained city. It was a place one wanted to linger. The timing of our arrival was not good in that it was the date of a national holiday and much was closed.

don't bother with a city tour, there is not much there except a cathedral and the city is very rundown and does not appear safe to walk around

Did not do any excursions but explored the city on our own. In this city and several others such as Barcelona where the cities have hop on and off tour buses at area attractions so if you can't get a particular execursion because they are sold out this is a good way to the cities.

The historic district, the people and the music made this independent venture enjoyable.
