Review summary

The ship itself is fine, the decor a little over the top, but the service and staff are just terrible. Don't make the mistake I did choosing Costa Cruiselines

Ports of call

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
I took a tour to Capri, which is breathtaking and the tour gave a lot of free time to walk around and explore
Don't Miss: the view of the bay and the cliffs

Marseille (Provence), France

5 out of 5
We took a shuttle to the old port and it was beautiful, we had lunch in a cafe and took a tram to a hillside cathedral for a beautiful view
Don't Miss: take the tram to hilltop cathedral for a view and have a nice lunch in a cafe

Savona (Genoa), Italy

5 out of 5
I took a tour to Portifino which is beautiful and wish I had more time to explore
Don't Miss: shopping, view, gelato

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

5 out of 5
beautiful and relaxing, it is a calmer version of Barcelona. One of the best ports on this cruise and a place i wish i had more time to visit
Don't Miss: anything

Palermo, Sicily

1 out of 5
don't bother with a city tour, there is not much there except a cathedral and the city is very rundown and does not appear safe to walk around
Don't Miss: The catherdral is the only thing nice to see in the city

Tunis, Tunisia

3 out of 5
The tour is ok, it is nice to see a country in Africa, but overall a very quiet port, not much to do or see
Don't Miss: the Medina

Pros: The ports of call

Cons: absolute terrible customer service, extremely disorganized, a don't care attitude

Recommends Costa Magica? No.
