Go to the village of St Paul. It is very beautiful. Also the small port that the ship ferried us to land was very pretty. You do not dock in Nice but right down the coast

Stunningly beautiful natural port with Nice and Monaco within a few minute drive and the ancient hilltop town of Eze overlooking the port.

We went to Nice and Monaco. We took the train to both places. Nothing notable to say about Nice. Monaco, the old part was pristine. Gorgeous! A must see. We wasted time hiking up to see the Prince's palace which was closed for his wedding! We also wasted time going to Monte Carlo, to the Casino because the entrace fee was 10 euros. We don't believe you should have to pay to waste more money in a casino. A tourbook said there was a no-fee salon there, but when we asked, we were directed to another casino.

Such a great port!! Dont miss Nice and Eze. While Monaco and Monte Carlo are beautiful, unless you are really into seeing a palace, visiting Princess Grace's tomb, and gambling, its not a vital stop.

Excellent small port, with tender. Very easy rail access to Nice on one direction (only 3 stops!) and Monte Carlo in the other direction. Check for French Rail strikes though!

Monaco was a beautiful port. The palace was nice and grand casino was well worth the visit.
