Landed by efficient tender service. Quite an eye opener with regard to shops, cars, people etc. Very expensive though.

Took bus to Antibes, a historic and scenic smaller town with ramparts, a market, cute beaches and Picasso museum. Came back by train, which was quicker and more scenic. About 10 - 15 minutes walk to and from train/bus station in both Cannes and Antibes.

Took the little train. Cannes and Nice are fantasy worlds for the middle class and poor (if they are able to cruise) to see the Disney World experience of the Rich and Famous. You look at the yachts and fancy hotels and think about the people starving to death throughout the world.

Locals were very cold/rude to the tourists in more than one shop and restaurant.
