For a solo first time cruiser at 72 years of age I found the trip to be fine. Don't know that I will become a regular cruiser however.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Ate all meals either Room Service for breakfast or the Haven Restaurant for lunch. Had dinner at two specialty restaurants Cagneys and La Cucina. Missed Le Bistro because I didn't have on long pants. Didn't need the cholesterol anyway.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
For the most part service was excellent. Employees work their butts off and I trust they receive ample compensation from the cruise line. Mostly Philippines country of origin.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Guess it was ok. Never really bothered to examine the entire ship. Pool areas were typical of resort hotel beach facilities with everyone hogging beach chairs drinking and kids making lots of noise
Cabin / Stateroom

your select a cabin section is too exhausting. the cabin number was 13295. A Haven penthouse suite located 15 miles from the Haven lounge. So if you want to walk continuiously then book this suite. The plus points of this suite are that is located at the end of the ship. great views and the propellers gently rock you to sleep. I slept great every night. Used the free room service for breakfast every day.
Ship tip
I used the ship for the opportunity to cruise the med. visist places in Europe and have lodging and meals provided. I was a solo travelor. if you want a repaste from the chaos and noise on other decks then I would book a space in the Haven.
Took the little train. Cannes and Nice are fantasy worlds for the middle class and poor (if they are able to cruise) to see the Disney World experience of the Rich and Famous. You look at the yachts and fancy hotels and think about the people starving to death throughout the world.
I agree with previous comment, try another line just to make sure. As a single traveller I find cruising good. Have made friends who I keep in touch with and enjoy being pampered.
