Bergen was very wet! We walked to the fish market and the old town but was soaked! Coffee was lovely at the Espresso Café and the Norwegian people were very friendly and accommodated!

did not do any excursions, so much to see and do in Bergen and too little time to do it. Walked through a lovely park, the shops, the old area of Bergen, went up the funicular and the views were out of this world. If I was going back to Bergen I would go on one of the hop on hop off tours they seemed to be very good.

Very pretty city as this was last stop was exhausted so just did the Panoramic Bergen tour. Had a very nice young man give tour and he was both humorous and informative. Be prepared for rain (rains 2/3 of the year).

We liked Bergen. User friendly town and very nice people. Our excursion, Mt Floien Hike was in the afternoon so we walked around the shops and had a coffee and pastry before our hike. We did go back to the ship to drop off our purchases and change clothes as the weather turned rainy and we were very glad we did as we were hiking in rain. Fun to ride the funicular up Mt Floien then do about a 5 mile round-trip hike. Not too difficult. It is a mountain and uphill. Our guide was great, gave lots of info on the area.
