this was a wonderful relaxing cruise with magnificent scenery. Excursions are well worth the little extra to see Norway in all its beauty.

mainly dined in the Venezian or Meridian. Staff were very good at helping me, I use a walking stick and would carry my tray for me. In the Meridian we had wonderful service as husband has food allergies. They went out there way to make the dining experience something special.

The ship in general was beautiful but there were one or 2 little things that made it feel a bit dated and I felt she needed a refit.
Cabin / Stateroom

cabin was excellent. Victor kept it beautifully clean and in the evening beds were ready, curtains drawn.
docked beside Gamle Stavanger. this older area is so beautiful and easy to reach. It is an easy walk to the town centre and the shopping area. beautiful buildings and lovely scenery.
The scenery on the sail up to Flam is magnificent. Again we were docked right in the middle of the town. The excursion on the Flam railway was spectacular, well worth it. The railway museum was worth a visit too.
did not go on the main excursion up to the large Glacier, mobility problems, but did a lovely coach tour up to a smaller glacier, the scenery was magnificent.
did not do any excursions, so much to see and do in Bergen and too little time to do it. Walked through a lovely park, the shops, the old area of Bergen, went up the funicular and the views were out of this world. If I was going back to Bergen I would go on one of the hop on hop off tours they seemed to be very good.
had assistance booked and organisation of this was excellent, however a problem with the gangway not meeting the ship properly delayed disembarkation slightly, causing a little crowding and stress.
