We went to the Acropolis which we were really looking forward to introducing our grandson to...it was hideously over crowded with the stairs unable to take even one more person completely spoiled the experience for him.

Best tour of cruise; saw all major site, with ample time at Acropolis, very nice Greek dinner, and time in Plaka for shopping and wandering, with trip to National Museum following.

The Acropolis is awesome. I wish they provided transportation from the town after the offered to drop us off after the trip to the acropolis. We didn't want to stay and shop because were were nervous about taking a cab back and we felt like we missed out on a lot

Terribly crowded. Went to the Acropolis and was herded through thousands of folks. Then on to Plaka after for lunch and it was crazy. Our guide took us for a long walk past many sidewalk cafes only to end up standing in line to get a wrap handed to us through a side-door and being told to "find a place to sit" somewhere. Oh, and you can find your own drink. Terrible.

There were no tours offered in this port so I did a tour of the city with Viator, which was great, and they picked me up and dropped me off at the ship in plenty of time.

This is a huge bustling city. We took the hop on-hop off bus and it was a great way for us to get around to the places we wanted to see. The Acropolis is a climb!

Athens was a great port. The included tour was informative and just the right amount of time. Great City, warm and welcoming people, all were friendly and helpful.
