We stayed in town and enjoyed the many shops and eateries. Less crowded than Santorini, so great to walk around and get lost in the many alleyways.

Here we did a lot of walking. We walked all the way to the windmills where the scenery was delightful and stopped in a few shops along the way.

We missed Mykanos sure to rough seas the day before and some older but fell, broke his leg, was seriously hurt, and had to be transferred off the boat near Sicily. We had to turn back to do this. Then someone else got off someone else got sick and we had to turn back and dock in Sicily to get them off. All that kept us from getting to Mykanos. Sad but we still had a wonderful cruise.

One of my favorite ports. You don't need to take an excursion...just soak up the atmosphere.

It was a beautiful port filled with wonderful old churches. You must see all of them you can, as we left the final one in tears.

We paid the $6 euro to be bused to the city and I would recommend that as it was worth it, the ship offered this. The shops and restaurant areas are great. To bad you arrive at night because there is a nice beach in town you could sit at .
