I shopped and it was a hard sell in most of the "stalls". I told them to give me the respect and the space to look around and see what I needed.

I've never really cared much for this port. The beaches are nice but small and crowded. We didn't pay extra to do excursions for EXTRA money on Royal's own island! We ended up at Nellie's beach which is better than the other side of the island that is very rocky along the shore. DO NOT go to the local's shops. They will hound you to death! It's a trap. You should also, in my opinion, not be charged for umbrella's on Royals private island!

To my surprise we really liked Labadee. We didn't book any excursions because beach, sand, water, zip line, and roller coasters are not our thing. Labadee was very pretty. We did go to the market, which was awful each and every Hatian tried to pressure you into buying their items. You couldn't look at something with out them in your face bothering you. I was done shopping in about 30 seconds. We turned around and walked out. On our way back to the ship we stopped in a building that had the natives selling their handmade goods. But no pressure you walk around and look at stuff without being side tracked to look at something else.... Everything was priced and everyone was very nice, we bought about 80% of our souvenirs from that building. We got to talk with the natives and learn about the culture!

Don’t get off the path! The peddlers are very high pressure and made us feel very uncomfortable!

Wasn’t impressed with Labadee. The part of the beach we were at was extremely rocky. I did hear there were other parts that were not so rocky so if I do end up there again I will check out those areas. I would recommend the Zip Line. That was the best part of the island. It was amazing

This was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. It was straight out of a movie. I loved every second of being here. I will now be planning my next cruise around this port I loved it that much. The waters were warm, the locals were very nice and we had a nice relaxing day at Nellies Beach after we learned the history of Labadee.

Columbus Cove beach was great, but water was a little cloudy. We went through the Haitian market village. They are incredibly pushy & you must be able to say no many, many times. You can get some good deals on some of their items if you are interested.

Okay for beach day, but too pricey to do anything else!

The water and amenities were fantastic! We went to the suite beach which was gated. We had free floaties to float around in the water. We had a private barbeque with lamb chops, salmon, ribs and chicken with all the fixings, drinks and all. It was superb! The only bad thing was going to the shopping area where we were bombarded with people trying to take us to an area that was not safe. Not enough protection.

Loved this port so much. We purchased the over water cabana and 100% worth it. We were able to get in the water/tan when we wanted right below our cabana and got back in the shaded cabana with complementary water, towels and a ceiling fan when it got too hot. We missed out on an excursion at the Jamaica stop because of this splurge but we will 100% do it again! Beautiful island! Wonderful experience
