The rooms were more than adequate; the food was to write home about! and the shopping was good. Really enjoyed the cruise and the relaxation. We were catered to nonstop!

Hard to find open chairs by the pool. Lots of towels on them, no people. Glad I had a balcony that I could lay out on, that was wonderful. Watched the ice skating show which was very good. Not a whole lot to do on ship. Paid for the mystery dinner which was fun.
The casino was so smokey we stayed away. Unfortunate because I would have liked to have played some. They should eliminate the smoking on Deck 4. It was horrible!
Entertainment

No great entertainment nights. So-so entertainers. The ice show was nice. The cruise director from Argentina was very talented and had alot of energy!!
Service and Staff

We had a wonderful room attendant, Renato, who made our week fun. We were in a grand suite but it did not provide a butler. Renato filled in pretty well, though. The concierge, Christopher, was wonderful and very helpful. He kept his commitments. We wanted for nothing! Our servers, Bernice and Janice, made our dining enjoyable. They knew just what we wanted before we did! They paid close attention to our likes. The dining room manager, Andre, was superb, and gave us our every wish. The food was terrific!

Everything was beyond clean! The suite we were in was luxurious with a comfortable bed lots of pillows and soft comforters. It was nice having a safe in the room where we could store our belongings.

Ship tip
It is worth paying the extra money for a grand suite or above. You get more attention!
A piece of my luggage from the taxi (#469 at the airport; a Toyota Sequoia) was never unloaded and I never got it back even though I reported him and the taxi #. Everyone said they knew nothing about that taxi. Best advice; always take a picture of the cab's license plate and number on side so you can report it to the authorities.)
The water and amenities were fantastic! We went to the suite beach which was gated. We had free floaties to float around in the water. We had a private barbeque with lamb chops, salmon, ribs and chicken with all the fixings, drinks and all. It was superb! The only bad thing was going to the shopping area where we were bombarded with people trying to take us to an area that was not safe. Not enough protection.
Paid $7/apiece to go by boat to town but they dropped us off far away from the ship shopping and we ended up on the not so good side of town. All that being said, my favorite shops were on that side of town. Reasonable prices and pleasant shop owners. Lots of quality items for fair prices. Long walk back to the other shopping, over a mile.
We went on the Cooks tour excursion where they taught us about Caribbean cooking. We went through the sugar plantation owner's home which is now a museum and toured the grounds before watching a cooking show and having what they made for lunch. Very pleasant afternoon. This was a must see tour!
