This was my first time here. IT was absolutely amazing and i will certainly be back. The beach is within a 5 minute walk of the gangway of the ship, however the beach here is very very rocky...i highly recomment water shoes or take an old junk pair of tennis shoes with you to wear in the water, you will thank me! lol Snorkeling here was great! lots of reefs, we saw sea turtles, tons of fish and it was just beautiful. The Flowrider looked awesome but i dodnt get a chance to try it out. Margaritaville is awesome!!!!! huge pool with a swimup bar and tons of entertainment from the dj and bar staff, it is a very family friendly place, and very fun!

This is a great chill beach day. The further you walk down the beach to the left, the softer the sand is. We rented two padded chairs and an umbrella for $20 at the shark bite shack down the beach. Only issues: Locals a little pushy, some marijuana smells. Boats pull in right onto the beach to load/unload, they're not very careful or patient so you have to watch kids closely.

Don't go to Margaritaville unless you need to check it off your list. When you get off the ship, go left and pass all of the "tourist" stuff. Look for a little shack on the beach, literally- a shack. It's not large. Just big enough for a little counter, one stool, and a boom box. They sell cheap local beer. Best drinks all day long. There's nothing I love more than a good view of the ocean with cheap beer. :)

We spent the day at Jacks Shack and had an amazing time! Umbrellas cost money there but it is way less crowded and the food is great! It’s much more affordable than Margaritaville.

Enjoyed Margaritaville! Their pool, bar, music and overall atmosphere was fun. A young cruiser entertained us with his dancing. Beach was beautiful. Time there was too short to see or do much at all. Hit a few shops on the way back to the ship.

Love this port because the ship docks right at the beach. Lots of palm trees and chairs. Bathrooms easily accessible and plentiful right beyond the beach amidst the shopping area. Margaretville restaurant and bar there. Don't miss the pool at this restaurant. Lots of fun.

We did not do excursion here, very calm water, a lot of seaweed due to the time of year I guess, it was September 2018. We walk the area close by and bought a few souvenirs, residents were very kind.
