A: I'll be on the same sailing that week. Excellent itinerary for beach and pool, terrible for shopping. There's a liquor store run by the cruise line at Grand Turk and Amber Cove but same prices as the ship. Slightly better selection.

A: Passport not needed, but vaccination paperwork might be required by the locals before they do business with your party. To het back on the ship each passenger will need their S&S card and if over 16 a name matched government issued photo ID.

Answered by maryred on February 25, 2023

A: You should always carry your passport on YOU when in a foreign country which most Caribbean islands are. If anything happens and you miss the ship or an accident happens you will need it to travel.

Answered by esrescuer on February 24, 2023

A: There is decent snorkeling right at either free beach within the cruise port area. BUT the more spectacular snorkeling is about 1 mile off-shore at The Wall. Best to take a group tour boat or hire a charter to get there.

Answered by maryred on January 25, 2023

A: There is a great beach at the port. The snorkeling is a bit better to the right of the pier. The beach is a bit nicer to the left, although it is more crowded. If you continue walking on the beach to the left beyond the port, there are some nice ba... rs and more beach areas. The pool at Margaritaville at the port is nice and free to use.See More

The price I was quoted online was much cheaper than just walking up and renting, he abided by that and we had a great time around the island. Water was beautiful, lots of do... nkeys roaming around. I bought a t shirt at the port , all the money went towards caring for the animals in need, great time!!See More
