Montego Bay, Jamaica Port Reviews

Jamaica was good and I liked that there was a mini-market right before we got back on the ship. However all activities are 2 hour away from the port and it's a looooong drive. So we drove 4 hours just to have 1.5 hour activity so we had to get on board on time.

The Croyland plantation tour was informative, but the roads to the plantation were in terrible shape.

Jamaica felt very unsafe unless you were with an excursion. It is full of poverty and trash. The locals were always trying to push things on is to buy. We did the Traditions and Flavors of Jamaica tour. Our tour guide Rona was awesome and kept us entertained while telling us of traditions and showing us different things. Not sure I would like to go back.

Port was self explanatory & everyone was nice. We swam with the dolphins and it was the best thing I’ve done in a very long time!

Quickly got back on ship. Marshall law had been declared and it was a constant mob of people trying to sell products and weed. I'm a 6'2" 250# veteran and I was concerned about safety.
