Had a wonderful time, but after cruising on The Dream two years ago, I was not satisfied with the size of this ship. It’s a bit smaller & it seemed like everything around the pool decks was extremely cramped.
Embarkation

We were scheduled to leave at 4:00 but didn’t leave until almost 7:00 with no notice to the customers. We all walked around asking questions, & the staff continued to say “we apologize for the inconvenience, we will pull out when we get the all clear”. Come to find out, they were still making repairs to the hole that was caused from the wreck a couple weeks back. We understand things come up, but we were very disappointed how absolute no notice was given to the cruisers.

The room was great size for two people. The room steward was wonderful!! Jeremiah was his name, he was the absolute best!
Ship tip
Take an extension cord if you are charging phones, sleep with an apnea machine, or have a straightening iron, we only had one outlet in our room. Also, take toothpicks, there are NONE on the ship anywhere lol
Griping about a 3 hour delay in leaving??? Come on!!!! We love the Dresm as well but the Glory still has the wonderful Carnival staff, etc, Love the Glory
I'm hoping they will have it together with patching the hole up by the time I board her in May but at least I know what to expect. I've sailed on the Dream a year and a half ago as well and wish she was still ported in NOLA (but it is what it is 😉). Glad you still enjoyed yourself. Thanks for the review!
