Do NOT ask the “Tubing and VIP Bamboo beach” excursion on RC unless you want to spend about 75% of your time on a shuttle. Was so disappointed in this excursion. There was nothing VIP about it. We had to gather at 8:15. We were on the bus (very confusing process...you need your passport, you don’t need your passport...maybe you need your passport...) at 9:30. Drove an hour to the tubing site. In the water MAYBE 45 minutes. Drove a boat to a beach. (Wish we’d stayed at that beach) only to get back on the bus to go to the Bamboo club which took over an hour. We got there at 12:30 and were told we had and hour and a half. We were packed into a small beach with very rough seas. Supposed to be delivered “unlimited beverages”. I walked to get the two beers I drank, had to go to a different bar cause the tap wasn’t working at one. I walked to one bar and ordered drinks and she handed them to me and said “thats $10”. So much for “unlimited!” No clue why she wanted to charge me but we had to get back on the bus. We were told there was no time for shopping. The five course meal is four extremely small portions of food which is nothing to write home about. We left at 2:10 and drove ANOTHER hour and a half back to the boat. Our driver was frantic to make it back in time. It was burning up on the bus and I was forced to sit in the seat next to the driver. The guide has no microphone so I couldn’t even hear the commentary. Needless to say. Not a fun day at all for $250.00.

This was a lovely place. The land is beautiful. The people in Jamaica we're very happy people, and eager to please.

The best port for Cruises in Jamaica, if you stay in and around the ship area. If you go out side the immediate area, it's Jamaica Hustle.

Went on a Rum Tour and it was nice and layed back, not a long drive and no long lines. Free small bottle of rum.

We were pleasantly surprised by Falmouth: open, clean, well laid-out, and safe. We didn't book an excursion.

If you stay on the ship you'll have the place to yourselves. The pool, the hot tub the buffet.

We have done excursions, in the past, in Jamaica and found it difficult to deal with the insistent sales pitch of the locals. This time we stayed within the port shopping area and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

While we did not do an excursion, we had a great time walking around the vintage looking port area, getting a Margarita in Margaritaville, shopping for Cuban cigars, and the all important T-shirt to commemorate the visit.
