Review summary

We heard wonderful things about the Liberty of the Seas ship with Royal Caribbean, and it was that, and more! We are looking forward to booking an Alaskan cruise with Royal Caribbean. Best vacation ever! Thank you RC!!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I was concerned when I saw all the people waiting to board, but the embarking process went fast, and effiently!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dinning experiences were a delight. One could dress down, dress up, or stay in to eat. It all depended on where, and what you wanted to eat. There were all types of food to my surprise. I loved the way our servers would engage themselves with our large family. One of my favorite parts of the cruise.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The activities were of all kinds. From children to adults, and family themes. My husband has fibromyalgia and we were concerned about him having to walk much, but this cruise line had that covered as well. Plenty of places to sit throughout the whole ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ahhh, the performances, and shows were of great quality. It showed through in the performers.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The children loved being able to go to a place where other children were. Not to mention it was nice to be able to do things without the children when wanted.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We loved all personnel on the ship. It was a neat experience to meet so many people from all around the world.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The common areas, and the restrooms always had someone maintaining them. Even down to the shinny elevator buttons; which I was quite surprised to never seeing fingerprints on them.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved it! For no longer than the amount of time spent in the rooms, it was a perfect fit. I also received some of my best sleep in my cabin!

Ship tip

Be sure to look at the itinerary the ship gives you each morning. There is constantly something to do. I don't believe the people in this ship ever quit working.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

3 out of 5
I guess since I'm from Texas, this was not that big of a deal to me.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
The family beach was great. There were a lot of different activities. The only thing I didn't like was the food. It made me sick. I was so looking forward to some good Mexican food, but we had poor quality American food.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
This was my all time favorite excursion. We went to the Mansion beach site. We were so impressed. This is what I was hoping to experience!!!

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
This was a lovely place. The land is beautiful. The people in Jamaica we're very happy people, and eager to please.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkment was a good experience. Quick, and easy.
