Review summary

This ship and the staff will treat you like a king/queen. I can't even think of one negative thing to say....it's simply an amazing cruise on a beautiful ship! Book it....NOW!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The lines were long, yet they were constantly moving. RC has a really efficient process of getting you through security, assigning your sea pass card(s) and getting on the ship. Not to mention that the bag drop off is crazy simple - drop and go! Awesome!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only ate in the main dining room once and the food was delicious. We opted for the Windjammer and Specialty dining restaurants simply because we wanted a flexible schedule - worked out great. The food in the Windjammer was great, lot's of options for all. Johnny Rockets burgers, onion rings and shakes were super yummy, too.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We mostly spend our time in the adult pool soaking up the sun and mingling with other cruisers - met some outstanding people who I now call my "friends"! We kept it simple this trip.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was top notch - you won't be disappointed!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on this ship is second to none - always smiling and willing to help out. Especially the bartenders at Sky Bar and at the adult pool bar. We tipped them well and we were treated like Royalty!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was refurbished in early 2017 so the ship is tight, clean and freshly painted.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin on deck 12 was part of the refurbishment - it's beautiful, roomy and the bed was perfect for my back!

Ship tip

My only tip to anyone booking on this ship - just book it and enjoy it - you will NOT be disappointed!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

Cozumel, Mexico

Apparently, there is only one owner for ALL the jewelry shops. Stay clear of them. Definitely buy some RUM cakes and bring them back with you. AMAZEBALLS!!! Margaritaville is wonderful, and it's close to the ship for when you've had too many shots! They rolled me out on a dolley! I have pics and will upload soon. LOL

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Swam with a Dolphin (Lucy) and enjoyed the amazing 7 mile beach. DO IT!

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Folmouth is a nice port; especially compared to Montego Bay (which is horrible). Dunn River Falls is a must......take your camera and don't forget to tip your guide well as he's the one who saved you from falling - even though I did, but only once. Yikes! Oh, the water is COLD, too! :)

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
30 minutes tops......easy peasy!
