Just hopped in a cab and went to Tortuga's. $12 to get in, snorkel gear included. Paid for food/drinks as we went. The snorkeling was awesome, and so was our waiter Fransisco! Plenty of free shots, btw ;)

A lot of tourist shops. Good tours offered. Not much to see outside of shops and restaurants / bars unless you get a taxi.

We walked to closest hotel where you can swim and snorkel for $45.00 for three all day long. Panchos backyard Restaurant was expensive, limited menu, for tourist only, don't fall for it.

Mayan ruins were amazing. We were shorted time in this port because of the hurricane threat.

ATV jungle adventure was a lot of fun and a rough terrain but don't expect to see any real Mayan "Ruins"

There are some nice areas for shopping and dining. We rented a jeep. Jeep was a piece of junk. Drive through some neighborhoods we shouldn't have been in. Got attacked my mosqitos at ruins. Stay in tourist areas.

Loved the ruins. Ruins at Tulum was a must see. not only for the ruins, but the view of the coast line was great. Could also do some swimming on the beach at the site, which was a plus.
