Visited Tulum on a ship booked excursion. It was a tour and the leader pushed photos and the like but that's the way they make some extra money. The tour was fine, I've had wanted to see Tulum for several years and finally made it. I think that tour was $159/each.

Cozumel was beautiful as well. We did the Dolphin Encounter Excursion. It was a blast playing woth dolphins and then snorkeling in the actual Caribbean. The only thing we hated was that one picture with only one of us in it(with the dolphin) was $30!!! We planned on paying a little for a picture but we thought that was a little much!

Rating is a result of the excursion I went on. My wife enjoyed the shopping at the port. I went scuba diving. Current was very fast which didn't allow for taking very good pictures. Dive was exhausting because of the speed of the current which shortened dive time considerably.

We always love Mexico. This was the easiest port to get off and on the boat. We just went to a beach this day (Paradise Beach). In the future, we may opt for a more local beach (less touristy) but our kids did enjoy the floats and beach.
