Review summary

I was very unhappy with them sending us to Mexico . Mexico was nothing to look at. Unless you wanted to shop you might as well stay on ship I would not recommend this at all.

I thought this was suppose to be rating the ship. Unfortunately, you take a risk when you sail during hurricane season.

Our favorite ship! There’s plenty of variety to satisfy you for meals and snacks, all at no extra cost as well as those spots that do have a charge! All you needed to do if you didn’t research ahead of time was read the Compass bulletin that the Steward leaves nightly. All activities are listed, plus ports and tours coming up and venues are repeated where you can eat each meal and the operating hours. Shows are Broadway worthy, so of course it’s smart to make a reservation, since they are complimentary! You disappointed yourself, don’t blame the ship or cruise line! If your AC was on the fritz, you needed to be better compensated, if you went right to the top!

You could have eaten at Johnny rockets free for breakfast for a change of pace. Royal Caribbean tells you to make reservations for the shows. Too bad you didn't do research ahead of time as it would have saved you some frustration

Was Mexico a change in itinerary due to the hurricanes? If so it’s not their fault. Oasis is a huge ship and it unfortunately cannot dock at every port b/c of it’s size. Mexico was probably the only alternative. There are several food options on Oasis Class ships, sometimes you have to venture out for variety. That’s awful that your air wasn’t working, they should’ve been able to give you a better alternative than a fan. It’s always best to make reservations online before boarding the ship, dining as well as shows. It guarantees you a spot and keeps you from having to wait in line, most of the time. Sounds like you needed to do a little research and planning before your cruise. Hopefully your next one will be better, you may want to consider booking a smaller ship 🙂

Wow. Research. Next time do some research prior to your cruise to know what to do and where to go when in port and if there is anything special going on on the ship. If you would’ve done that, you would’ve found out that on such a big ship, you need to make reservations for the shows. If you chose not to, there’s always a standby line. Just show up 15-20 minutes prior to the show. There’s always empty seats. And same thing for breakfast each day? Who cares. You’re not cooking or washing the dishes. Hope your next cruise is better.
