Really enjoyed cozumel. it was my favorite port. I would go back and stay for just a vacation.

We loved the activities as we arrived at the shops. There were people made up as statues, dancers, singers, and animals to hold. The shops were gorgeous and had a lot of good buys. We went to 'Paradise Beach" which cost $13.00 each way for a taxi and you had to spen $10.00 at the beach. This was a good price. They had umbrellas, chairs, floats, several trampolines, and a iceberg to climb for free. I liked the fact a waiter came around to take your order so you did not have to stand in line or miss anything on the beach. The only bad part was the water was not clear. An employee said it was usually crystal clear, but the wind was coming from the wrong direction and made it dirty.

We went to the Mayan ruins and Xei-Ha... not quite as impressive as I imagined it would be, but the tour guides did everything in their power to make the trip comfortable, informative, and organized.

Having been to Cozumel a number of times, my time was best spent onboard while everyone else was off the ship. I was actually able to get near the pool.

Hired a taxi for $20 per person to go to a secluded beach. Was really nice.

Recommend Paradise Beach (not a ship activity). Took a cab. Outstanding beach, pool, bar, food.
