Review summary

We were on the Grandeur of the Seas, and we enjoyed the rock climbing wall, the excercise equipment, and the pools. The weather was warm, and we were able to find a pool chair at any time of the day. The excursions at the 3 ports gave us plenty to choose from. We did the stingray city, which was good, and we did the dolpohin swim at Cozumel. The shopping was great at all 3 ports, and the ocean was a beutiful color!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We only went to dinner, and the food selections were not our favorite, but the desserts were wonderful!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The Accapella group was excellent, but could have been a little less loud. It was almost too loud to hear all of the voices. The juggler on Friday night was by far the best! He was amazing and funny.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
They did a great job.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This was a smaller ship than we were on before, but it did not seem smaller. The cleanliness of the ship was good, and the staff did a great job with making everyone wash their hands before and after eating, and on other parts of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our room was small, but we did not spend much time there. The cleanliness was good, and our room attendant was excellent. He would leave towel art every night for us.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We went shopping this day, the people in the shops were very rude. My daughter was hastled at almost all of the stores. We did not shop too long becuase of that.

Cozumel, Mexico

We did the dolphin swim, and that was very cool. We also shopped for the time we had left. The people in the shops were friendlier and not rude. We also purchased more here than at any other port.
Don't Miss: Dolphin swim

Pros: The option to be busy, or to sit and read

Cons: The ships dancers and singers
