Review summary

Ship was old but had been renovated so most of it was really nice. Could tell age in cabin. Very clean.

Buffet food was average at best. We ate one night in dining room, and that food was much better.

Entertainment

Lots of things for kids to do, not so many for adults.

Service and Staff

Staff was less than friendly. The only people who chatted with us or acted like they were happy to be there were Trisha (trivia lady) and Brian (guitar man). Bartenders, wait staff and buffet servers/waiters were stone-faced, no conversation, few smiles. Helpful if we asked a question.

Clean, usual cruise ship decor, ship size great, not crowded

Size and decor was as expected. Few amenities if any. Beds were awful -- very hard. We were all aching every morning. Our midship location was great. Shower ceiling was peeling -- not very inviting. Never any actual cold water in the bathroom sink, and "scalding" warning was ridiculous as never any real hot water in the shower.

Wonderful day at Nachi Cocom Beach Club (all-inclusive) -- NOT on ship excursion but should be. Beautiful beach, clear water, pretty pool, average Mexican food -- water activities and beach toys for rent. Everything in great condition. Staff was attentive, friendly, happy.
