Love Cozumel. We went on the Jungle ATV tour. It was a little tamer than I would have liked, but fun none-the-less, and we got to jump into the Cenote and swim in the cavern under the fruit bats. We saw multiple iguanas, a "squatee" (no idea how to spell) but basically a huge brown mexican raccoon, and a huge swarm of butterflies. It was pretty awesome. They drove us out in a huge high water vehicle. We had enough time after returning to the port to take a cab into town, and eat at our favorite Cozumel restaurant Palmero's. Y'all, go try the ceviche there. SO GOOD. Back to the port to watch the drunks roll in back to ship (literally, rolled in on wheelchairs. C'mon people, learn some self regulation), the pukers, AND the pier runners! hahahahaha! they made it though!

We went to Chankanaab and swam with the Manatees. I loved it!!! Afterwards, we enjoyed snorkeling and had some food and drinks. Would definitely come back. It’s a beautiful place.

Our excursion was to Passion Island. This is an all inclusive excursion with food and drinks included. The boat ride was approximately 30 minutes and was very enjoyable. This was the second time we done this excursion. The food and drinks were good, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a nice relaxing time on the beach!

We came on Carnival Legend to Cozumel last week for our Isla Pasion excursion. We rode the speed boat to the island and (once I realized that my seat on the back, elevated row necessitated me covering my mouth and nose) it was an absolute blast! 360 turns, soaking wet, singing along with Gabriel while Luis expertly drove the boat and waving to all the boats we passed was so much fun! The island was pretty peaceful. Nature didn’t allow for snorkeling due to churning strong waves, but I enjoyed the buffet lunch and open bar and the beach chairs and hammocks. I strongly recommend booking the Twister boats to Isla Pasion. (Also, I still had time after to go back on the ship to change clothes quickly and go back to the port for a little shopping).

We took the Cozumel Highlights & Shopping tour. The first stop was the Discover Mexico Park. It featured models of some of Mexico's historic sights as well as a small art museum. Next up was the chocolate factory. They gave a demonstration of how the Mayans made chocolate. They had samples in the gift shop. The third stop was the Tequila Museum. We were allowed to try about 9 types of tequila. After that they took us around the island. They made a stop by the shore where you can have a picture taken or get some snacks/drinks. Of course, there were shopping opportunities at each stop.

We did an excursion through a company not associated with RC, and it took us on a jeep ride to a private beach which included lunch. We got an awesome view of the coastline and went to the organic tequila tour. Great excursion.
