Overall, this is a GREAT ship. If you have never been on a big ship, just be prepared for a wait for certain things. This ship holds 4500 passengers. There is bound to be a wait for something. BOOK THE VISTA TODAY

As a whole, it was smooth. Carnival's computers went down for a little bit, but after that, everything else went great. We were on the ship fast and our rooms were ready with keys delivered by 1:30pm

Food and Dining

Had dinner in the Reflections restaurant. The service was slow the first day, but then everyone was attentive going forward. The Lido Market, Guy's Burger Joint, The Seafood Shack, and Pig and Anchor were all good. There is something for everyone on the ship
Onboard Activities

The main pool was busy, but it is a big ship, so it is to be expected. The Tides pool and Serenity were very easy going. The Sports Court was fun as well as the water park. Sky Ride always had a wait, but again, there were 4500 passengers, so the lines were to be expected.
Entertainment

The Stage shows were very well put together. Lip Sync Battle is a GREAT addition and was a world of fun. The FUN CREW worked to keep everyone engaged. Matt is a GREAT cruise director and keeps his staff on point. The DJs were ok. Carnival has better DJs within their fleet but they did the job.

My son LOVED Circle C. The activities and the other kids that he met, he just enjoyed.
Service and Staff

The wait staff in the restaurant was slow on the first day, but then they got into a rhythm and they were excellent the rest of the way. My cabin stewart, Linnsama was EXCEPTIONAL. He asked when I would like him to clean the room he gave me 2 choices, morning or afternoon. He worked around our schedule and was just great. The bar tenders and bar waiters were on point
Ship Quality

The layout of the ship was amazing. They kept the ship clean at all times, including the public restrooms. The overall maintenance of the ship was great.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size of the Cabin was spacious. The balcony was just what the doctor ordered. My cabin stewart stayed on top of everything. It was a great experience
Ship tip
Just remember that the ship has 4500 passengers. So there might be a wait at some point. Just continue to have fun and don't let it get you down.
Ocho Rios is Beautiful. We did the Bombay Beach Resort excursion. All food and drinks are included. It was a great excursion. If you do this excursion, ask for Sammi-Jo. She is the best and the service was great
I love Grand Cayman. If you are looking for excursions, my recommendations would be either Sea Trek but it sells out quick or 7 Mile Beach resort. That sells out quick also
Cozumel is a great port. We did the Channaub Park All inclusive excursion. Snorkling, Sea Lion Show you can swim with the dolphins. It was a great time
GIL155 the guest capacity for Vista is 3,934 with a crew capacity of 1,450. I have been on 18 Carnival cruises and have already booked two on the Vista. One in January and another a year later in a family reunion. Can't wait
