Hubby and I went shopping. It was great. Taxi driver didn't want to take us for the fixed rate, but it worked out in the end. We loved just walking the main street. We have been before so we didn't want tours. ended up at Senor Frogs for drinks and nachos. Fun time.

area is beautiful. Get out and do some walking. The locals were quite aggressive in trying to get us to buy stuff.

Cozumel was the most touristy port, but if you walk a block or two out from the main road on the water, there are some really great shops and coffee shops. One thing to note, as of March 2006, the piers were still not ready from the destruction of the fall 2005 hurricanes. The ships use tender boats to get you to shore.
