Great Ports - Average Meals

Sail Date: April 08, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Nice ship. Plenty of room. Well laid out. Best part was the ports of call! Food was boring.

Pros: The ports of call, especially Costa Maya and Belieze, were GREAT!

Cons: Food on the cruise was only so-so. Not very impressive "chocolate buffet".

Cozumel, Mexico
Decent shopping. Prices go up every year...but I guess that is normal.
Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemala
Did the banana plantation. Not too exciting. Tour guide was very information of his country. Port is actually a container shipping yard.
Belize City, Belize
We did the Aerial Trek/Tube Caving and it was fantastic! Port area shopping is good mix of local and "touristy" stuffs.
Don't Miss: Aerial Trek/Cave Tubing

Wonderful port area with hugh salt water swimming pool, lawn chairs by the beach, massage specialists on the beach, swim up bar, shopping, local entertainment. GREAT!!!
Don't Miss: Snorkeling was really good here.
