A: We go every time we stop there. It’s the best.
Answered by bronck on July 23, 2023
A: I spent a day there this past January. I enjoyed it. Plenty of food on the menu to choose from for the included meal. It’s the only time I’ve been to Cozumel so I can’t compare it to the other Cozumel beach clubs, but I went there because I wanted a... quiet, pretty, non-party beach to spend the day at, and it delivered.See More

A: we spent the day there in June and absolutely loved it. The food was great and they made sure we had plenty of drinks. it wasn't crowded at all either which was nice.

A: It's been right before COVID that we went there. We liked it enough that we are going back in Oct. They limit the number of people they allow in as to not over crowd.

Q: Sailing with Carnival soon and was planning on going to Mr. Sancho’s with my family. Unfortunately, when I went to make reservations on their website, they were all booked for my date. Does anyone have any similar recommendations for an all inclusive resort? I really loved Mr. Sancho’s the last time I was there so I’m hoping for another similar experience. Thanks in advance!

A: Check out paradise beach. Great place with a clean facility, nice beach, great customer service and an unlimited package that covers admission as well as food and drinks. Hope you have a great cruise!

A: Mr Sancho's has gone way down hill since the price went up. We're not planning to go there ever again and it used to be our favorite. We've already booked Paradise Beach for our next 2 trips to Cozumel.

A: Paradise Beach is so much better than Mr Sanchos now
Answered by princessvickie on July 11, 2023
A: Paradise Beach is so much better in my opinion. I don't get the love for Mr. Sanchos. It was just ok to me. I was not a fan of Playa Mia but I can see it being fun for little kids. Nachi Cocom is nice but it's a low key vibe. These are the only four... I've been too and I love Paradise Beach.See More

A: Mr. Sancho's is not affiliated with Carnival, so that is a pointless comment.

A: Cruiseline won't allow agriculture on the ship from other countries.
Answered by robyn1013 on July 7, 2023
A: Yes you can, assuming you want to run the risk of introducing a noxious invasive pest (insect eggs for one) into the US, take the chance of some very stiff fines if you get caught, and maybe get bumped off the ship in Mexico. But if you are at le... ast semi law abiding, then no, not legal or very environmentally sound..See More
Answered by RetiredRay on July 7, 2023
A: You probably won’t make it on the ship, and if you do you won’t make it through customs in the US, it’s a felony to transport agricultural products internationally without a permit.
Answered by TXatsea on July 8, 2023
A: Flowers and Plants: Only permitted on board if ordered through Carnival’s Fun Shops or delivered by a florist in the port of embarkation but are not permitted to be taken off the ship in Australia or Ports of call. That is directly from Carnival’s web... site.See More
Answered by MichaelW on July 7, 2023
A: If the dogs in Mexican ports hit on it you might have problems getting to the ship. If the on board K-9 security officer thinks it smells like something, you might find your cabin being searched. & if the scanners from the CBP detect it you will have... a nice talk w/ an agent about what is & isn't allowed to be carried across borders. Not to mention it's against ship regs to bring plants or seeds on from ports.See More

A: I'm probably one of the only ones who will be honest and actually diss Mr. Sancho's. It was a great place to go until the price went up, the menu changed, and the service vanished. Our last visit in March was at this point our last visit there PERIOD... . We didn't pay $68pp to get up and serve ourselves all day. If that's what you want to pay for, then that's where you want to go. We're going to Paradise Beach.See More

A: I have been to both and you can’t go wrong with either. The biggest difference to me is paradise beach is cleaner and seems more relaxed. On the last visit to paradise beach, we rented a cabana by the pool and the drinks were flowing the entire day!... Buy the all inclusive package.See More

A: Since Cozumel is not a Royal private port it would depend on the local operator running the tour that day.

A: Most of the snorkeling, scuba, and snuba take place at the beautiful National Marine Park of Cozumel.

My question is, do you have to book the bed after you book your reservation? I don't see the option to add a daybed at the same time I make the reservations for me and my husband. TIA!

Answered by RangerRick1 on March 27, 2023
A: I highly recommend Mr. Sanchos. It’s not offered thru the cruise line but it’s not far from the port maybe 20 min ride tops and all inclusive. I enjoyed their ‘water park’ (massive floaties to climb on and jump off in the ocean) That is an up charge... from their admission price. A: I went there in a wheelchair a couple years ago. We took a taxi van. One there, you have sidewalks to roll on but going down to the beach is harder because sand is so soft. I did not see an option for beach wheelchairs. Call them or send an email wit... h any questions. The are super friendly and answer back quickly. We have been twice. Got a cabana each time. A: You probably don't want to go to Mr. Sancho's anyway. I know we will be going to try out other all inclusive beach resorts on all the cruises we have booked that are going to Cozumel. We had a great time on our first and second visits to Mr. Sancho's... , but our most recent visit on March 9th was terrible. Q: Has anyone done this excursion in Cozumel with shore excursioneer? I booked last night night with a 10:30 am (ship time)departure. They changed it to 12:30 (Cozumel local time). Our port time is 9-5. I talked to shore excursioneer and they said it was plenty of time. It’s called Cozumel jungle ATV ,Jade Carven and Cenote Swim excursion. It’s a 3.5 hour excursion.

A: We took an excursion with an outside company once (newbies that didn’t know any better at the time). It worked out and we we’re back at the ship on time. However, the entire time we were so nervous that we would be late, that we couldn’t enjoy the be... autiful caves and scenery in Belize. We will never do an outside company excursion again, simply for peace of mind.See More

A: Cozumel does not observe Daylight Savings Time, so during the Fall/Winter local time equals Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5) and in the Spring/Summer remains at GMT-5, making it the same time as Central Daylight Time, equaling Galveston or NOLA's time z... one.
