Has anyone done this excursion in Cozumel with shore excursioneer? I booked last night night with a 10:30 am (ship time)departure. They changed it to 12:30 (Cozumel local time). Our port time is 9-5. I talked to shore excursioneer and they said it was plenty of time. It’s called Cozumel jungle ATV ,Jade Carven and Cenote Swim excursion. It’s a 3.5 hour excursion.

We took an excursion with an outside company once (newbies that didn’t know any better at the time). It worked out and we we’re back at the ship on time. However, the entire time we were so nervous that we would be late, that we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful caves and scenery in Belize. We will never do an outside company excursion again, simply for peace of mind.

Cozumel does not observe Daylight Savings Time, so during the Fall/Winter local time equals Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5) and in the Spring/Summer remains at GMT-5, making it the same time as Central Daylight Time, equaling Galveston or NOLA's time zone. Shore excursioneer is only a ticket consolidation seller the individual tour company controls the timing best to try to contact them directly.

Just be careful about being able to get back to the ship on time. On a recent excursion in St. Croix, our transportation broke down on the way back to the ship. Luckily, we had plenty of time and were on a Royal excursion. If you get back late and you are on a "non-Royal" excursion, you may be left at the port.

yeah to me that's cutting it a little close. I'm sure that they will get you back to the ship in time because if they don't it would hurt their reputation and people wouldn't book with them, but at the sacrifice of shortening your excursion. which I imagine you'd probably only get about two and a half hours of that excursion

Can't answer for That company, however we have done that same tour on Royal Caribbean, and had a great time... back when you were allowed to jump into the cavern 27ft into the water.... they don't allow that anymore... either way, it's a great excursion... just watch your time!

I have never been on that excursion, but use that company often. they are reputable and do offer the guarantees. if you are uncomfortable with it, cancel, but I think you will be fine. The 5 pm is still ship time shore time is 2 hour difference you will be done by 130 ship time

Excursions generally aim to have you back to the port an hour before your departure. If you leave at 12:30 for a 3.5 hour excursion they’ll have you back at 4 in plenty of time for your 5 pm departure.

Yes you will have plenty of time.We did this in September, had an absolute blast. Be prepared to get a little muddy. I would not recommend swimming in the cenote, this one is full of bat guano ( poo ). We swam in the ones in Altun, Mexico a couple days later and then when we returned home we all got what is called travelers gut...we all lost about 25lbs in about 1 week. But they are beautiful to go look at.
