A: There are several They aren't cheap but nice. Pay with cash only. I can't count how many times I have read about big overcharges on credit cards.

A: There are many port bars, but expect to pay Miami/NY/Vegas prices. Cab into town for a more real Mexican experience.

A: There are a few bars and a swimming pool right at the port. Nice port. I highly recommend CM Experiences for any excursions in the area. They were fabulous to work with.

Q: Comments say the dock is a half mile long walk to the shore. Does anyone know if the ships or the Port offer transportation such as golf carts or bicycle buggys to assist those with disabilities to shore?

A: Costa Maya has a tram on the Port that's free, but customary to tip the driver's. Usually the tram holds around 30 ppl at a time

A: We did Malecon21. It has great reviews on Google Maps, but it just didn't hit for us. Maybe we had too high expectations for the food and service. The ugly overcast day didnt help. A: Have been there several times. Not sure about purses there. I think your best bet would be Cozumel. Also ask the staff. They always know2 where to get the best deals. Can't wait. Halloween is going to be fabulous!

A: Not sure what other ports you will be getting off at but Cozumel has some great ones. Keep haggling and you will get a good deal! There is also a shop in the Bahamas right before you get to the straw market that has them. She’s a little more for. On... her prices but they look more original.See More

A: a trolley is available. it will take you into town..lunch on the beach, lots of shops. return trip is by taxi. I suggest a few hours here and then time at the cruise port..

A: They greatly enjoy US dollars. But if you have a credit card with no foreign transaction fees, use it and tell them to charge you in pesos. You’ll save a good 10% or more by not getting slammed with a bogus exchange rate.

A: pretty much any where in the Caribbean will take USD but really keep small bills and anything big use credit card have the card calculate the conversions so you don't get scammed

A: We just got back, went to the Krazy Lobster. Stayed most of the day. Cheap beer, lots of seaweed this time of year. Reef can be reached from shore for snorkeling.

A: I've heard really good things about Maya Chan all inclusive resort but I haven't been there myself. If I remember correctly, they pick you up just outside the port and bring you back.

A: The Mayan Healing Ritual was fantastic…soaking in warm flowing water in a dark warm room, a traditional sauna/sweat lodge, mud and cold water rinse, another soak in an outdoor tub and finally a massage in a hammock…unique and relaxing. Their right on... the beach and a you can refresh with a nice cocktail in a beach chair afterwards if you like (drinks not included). Highly recommended!See More

A: We visited Chacchoben Mayan ruins a couple of years ago. Great tour. We saw and climbed several pyramids. It's about an hour bus ride from the Port.
