We just got back, went to the Krazy Lobster. Stayed most of the day. Cheap beer, lots of seaweed this time of year. Reef can be reached from shore for snorkeling.

I've heard really good things about Maya Chan all inclusive resort but I haven't been there myself. If I remember correctly, they pick you up just outside the port and bring you back.
