We did find some locals that offered a tour around the island. It was amazing and worth the money. Beaches were beautiful and got to try the local food.

Carombola beach escape was nice. We walked down the beach to the Discovery Bar and had rum punches with Morsi. Great beach on the Carribean side

Catamaran and then a taxi tour, definitely get out on the water or find something to do outside of the downtown area which is unimpressive.

Stayed in port shopping area - Best place in caribbean to do your buying for back home (T shrits etc were by far cheapest at this stop). Most vendors want to haggle, but are nice, polite and happy to help.
