Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Tried Epicurian 3/5 (overpriced and just OK) Sindhu 5/5 excellent food ands service. Main dining room awesome and buffet was "as expected".

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Casino was tiny, pools were cramped with many sun bathing areas blocked out unless very early.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good indeed. Every night there was alawys something that we wanted to watch.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
a clean ship, but definatley starting to show her age. A number of rust areas on our balcony (and throughout the ship). Refit in April 20 will make a big difference.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
A deluxe balcony, these cabins have a bath, and an extended balcony. It means the balcony is overlooked, but worth it for the enhanced space.

Ports of call

Funchal, Madeira

P&O excursion to Caves of Sao Vincente. OK, kinda of interesting, and maybe worth trip to see the other side of the island. Next time, would probably sit in Madiera and have coffee, having done toboggan on previous visit.

St. John's, Antigua

P&O excursion to see the island, including stop at beach. The trip was interesting, saw loads of the island, and beach stop was great. Rum punch at 2 stops helped.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Stayed in port shopping area - Best place in caribbean to do your buying for back home (T shrits etc were by far cheapest at this stop). Most vendors want to haggle, but are nice, polite and happy to help.

Castries, St. Lucia

Rained most of day - Did P&O excusrion to vbiew island and have rum tasting. Worst trip, as every stop was a hard sell push to buy stuff I did not want. Rum tasting saved the day. Never been offered so much rum at a tasting before!

Kingstown, St. Vincent

5 out of 5
Awesomne day - Private trip to see the waterfalls, Pirates of Caribbean set, beach etc etc. Exceptional day out, and best stop on the trip.

Bridgetown, Barbados

P&O train trip and rum factory. Just a "meh" kinda trip. Would have preferred going to beach on my own. Made side trip to Mount Gay rum factory - bouth bottle for $2 more than it cost at criuse port, and $10 more than airport.......ho hum.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
easy peasy - Well done P&O in integrating this as a package with TUI charter flight. Noi issues at all - even when I left my phone back on ship, they found it and got it to me before boarding plane! Awesome.
