I loved Bermuda on my last cruise in 2016. Shopping in Dockyard was fun and convenient. Does anyone know how much the ferry is to St. George How often it runs?

Great port! First day, we took a stroll in Hamilton, did some shopping, and had lunch at a restaurant called Pickled Onion- very good food, excellent service with such a friendly waitress. Second day, we went to the famous Horseshoe Bay. We rented 2 umbrellas and a few chairs for our group- the guys at that stand were so friendly and helpful. I'm not accustomed to anyone bringing the umbrellas to the spot you want in the sand, so this was such a welcome change. Water was warm, air breezy, and sand so soft and comfortable- I didn't want to leave, but the other 9 people that I came didn't give me a choice. Oh yeah, the van ride back to the port was uneventful (which is good). Coming from and living in New York, there are plenty of unscrupulous van and taxi drivers trying to take advantage of tourists. So glad I didn't have to be aggravated that way. I think it's regulated and enforced....... key word enforced.

Bermuda is a lovely place. People are very polite and generally friendly. Horseshoe Bay beach is one of my very favorite and we have been to beaches around the world. We did a beach "transfer" which seemed a little pricey when we saw the cab rates on the pier. However, because we had a cabin credit of $50 per excursion it was acceptable. This is the third time I have been to Bermuda and I would go back again and again. Weather was gorgeous!

While this was not our favorite cruise to date, it was still quite enjoyable. We took a full day bus tour with special wheelchair accessibility. George, the owner of the company, was our driver/tour guide and provided an entertaining and informative banter throughout the tour. We booked directly through NCL, however his website is www.uniquevacations.bm if you would like to contact him directly. Tell him Charlotte and Mike sent you.

The port was beautiful even just from our balcony on the ship. Very historic and very, very clean. We didn't venture far from port. It was a rain overcast day. Decided to explore town a little. The shopping areas were busy and crowded, which was expected. The buildings and architecture were gorgeus and so well kept. Very photogenic place. Also went to the National Museum of Bermuda. Definitely worth it! Spent half the day there walking around and in the museum. Bermuda has perserved a lot of their history right there. Had lunch at the Frog and Onion Pub and Brewery. Good food, beer and service. Nice and casual. Bermuda was a little expensive but again, that was expected. Was disppointed we didn't make it to the beach but well worth the visit anyways! Would definitely come back to this island and explore more.

This was our 3rd trip to Bermuda, and we love everything about the country. They have made many improvements to the Dockyard area due to the Americas Cup recently.
