I didn't care for the port, would have preferred to land closer to Hamilton. Plenty to see and do at King's Wharf, but it's a half hour moped ride to Hamilton. You can take your moped on to the ferry for $4.00 to Hamilton. Wish we had done this - as the first day my husband had a moped accident, 20 stitches in his foot, and that altered our plans. NOTE - the bill on the ship for my husband's medical care was $400. To be paid immediately. so BE CAREFUL!

We absolutely loved Bermuda- it was by far the best stop on this cruise. We are planning a cruise to Bermuda in the spring of next year and would only go to Bermuda going forward for an "island trip". We loved walking around the charming city. the shops were great and the overall atmosphere is so appealing

There are fairly few events going on in Bermuda. King's Wharf is under-developed for tourism. There is only one real city, Hamilton, and even in this city there is not a whole lot going on; pretty much a waste of time. The caves are interesting to see even if you have seem caves before. St. George has interesting historical things to see such as an unfinished church begun in the 1800's and an old fort (fee for entry). Eating and drinking on the island is very expensive. Meals run around $16, beer will cost around $7 a pint, and a pina coloda will cost around $8.50.
