Review summary

We recently returned from sailing on the Norwegian Spirit and we had a terrific time. The staff were extremely friendly on ship. The food was fantastic and the specialty reataurants were excellent. Our room was nice- we had a porthole. The pool area was great, the music was lively and the pool games and parties were alot of fun. We have sailed on Norwegian several times in the past and would do so again without any hesitation. We really enjoyed the free style dining experience and the very friendly and helpful staff in all of the food service areas. The spa was great. I had a wonderful experience there and purchased some products that I really like. The library was a wonderful feature and we spent alot of time there. I must say that Cagneys had the best steak that I can ever recall eating and I have eaten in many steak houses in the New York area. I also enjoyed the Asian experience as well as La Tratoria. We really enjoyed the buffet food area- the food was excellent and the afternoon snacks- particulary the scones with cloted cream and jam were fantastic. We made great use of the gym everyday and were very happy to have the opportunity do do that. The nightlife was great, the casino was great and overall, I would say this was our best cruise. We absolutely loved Bermuda and are planning to take a cruise there next year in the spring. Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with our comments and more importantly, for getting us to take this fabulous trip!!!!

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

We absolutely loved Bermuda- it was by far the best stop on this cruise. We are planning a cruise to Bermuda in the spring of next year and would only go to Bermuda going forward for an "island trip". We loved walking around the charming city. the shops were great and the overall atmosphere is so appealing
Don't Miss: Don't miss anything- I would suggest only going to Bermuda and not to go to the other islands

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We were docked until 1Am, however, the stores closed at 5PM and we did not have much time for shopping as we took a side trip to the beach

Pros: Convenience of leaving from NYC, itinerary, friendly staff, food, specialty restaurants

Cons: Embarcation process- everyone arrives at once at it took about 2 hrs to board. I think people should be given asssigned times for arrival based on their deck or alphabetical order or any form of order. It was chaotic and the staff were not friendly for the most part
