Knight's Taxi Service has a great personal 4 hour tour, that takes you deeper into the island. Richard was a great host, and shared many interesting stories. High Tea at the Princess Hotel is also a must do.

We docked at this site, didnt really look around except to use the bus and ferry stations. We traveled with another family and we had the intensions of renting scooters. Because there were 4 adults and 3 kids, and me never riding one before, I got the pleasure of riding alone. They have a practice area for those new on mopeds, and after going around it 5 times, i told them I would like to go one more time, and they said "No, you need to go alot more times" After 15 times around, and still not comfortable, and almost taking out a horse, a cab and a bus, I decided to trade my moped in for a bus pass. Still had a great time! We went to the Hamilton Port, which has a lot of shopping, and things to see, and the St Georges Port, where we stopped to see the Crystal caves, which was pretty neat too.

We did the power snorkel which was ok. I think I would want to snorkel without the pwer thingy; it was a bit cumbersome. We rented a scooter for the 2nd day. This is a very interesting experience!! I don't know how people with no motorcycle/scooter experience survive the streets though!! I guess I could take or leave Bermuda. It was a lot more built up then I thought it was going to be.

Not much to do at the Dockyard. Could skip this and not miss a thing. Horseshoe Bay beach is a must see. Hamilton was just okay - shopping nothing special as compared to other Caribbean ports, and items were very expensive. Buy the 3 day bus / ferry pass for $28. (Taxis are very expensive.) It's a great deal, but allow plenty of time to travel to and from your destination. The ferry is the fastest (25 minutes from the ship to Hamilton - 45 minutes to St. George - but on the return trip the ferries fill up quickly. It you have to take the bus, allow at least 1 hour to return from Hamilton..

Beautiful port. We did the Glass bottom boat tour. Tour guides were great. Very knowledgeable and shared the information about their island in a friendly manner.

Beaches, if you like them. Horseshoe Beach is nice but ask around about which is best. We did "power snorkeling" using an Aqua Scooter, which was new and fun, although the water tends to be a bit murky for good vis. Skip Harbor Night (Wed.) in Hamilton but if you do it, just purchase a public transportation pass ($12 for a whole day will take you anywhere on land and water) and avoid the $27 "Shore Excursion" shipboard price for a ferry ride. Definitely NOT worth it!!
